A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in last Sunday's Market Place! It was a gorgeous day, we had outstanding merchants and clients came from near and far. I was overwhelmed by the creativity and beauty.

I do not think I have ever seen such a cheerful and pretty booth as this one by Modern Crush. Check out her blog post on the Market Place.

Market Place Merchants

I would like to introduce two of the talented merchants that will be at this Sunday's Market Place at MC Atelier (I will share the other vendors with you in the next few days).

#1
First we have Kassandra Fisher with her signature concrete planters. Filled with a variety succulents, each planter is unique. What a gorgeous living gift these would make. The planters are currently sold at Barrels + Branches in Encinitas -where I am told they are flying off the shelves. This makes us extra pleased that she is bringing her pieces out to Valley Center for all of us to scoop up.

Kassie also offers classes on how to make these gorgeous planters -ask her about attending or hosting an event!

Jessica Jensen's jewelry will stop you in your tracks. Eye-catching to say the least; the way she is able to mix metals, decades, high with low, and vintage with new is breathtaking. I have had Jessica at nearly all of my past events and clients are always pleased.

When you wear one of Jessica's necklaces you will understand what it is to be jessica(fied)... a little vintage, a little funky, a little silly, and certainly the center of attention.

I thought it would be fun to show you the amazing transformation we were able to achieve on the atelier, before it became the MC Atelier, and was just an extra room. It was a pretty big undertaking, we poured a lot of sweat, sore muscles, and late nights into this venture. Take a look, you will not believe the transformation when you visit us and see the space after I was able to go to work on what I do best. I can not wait to see you Sunday the 14th!

I am pleased to announce, The Market Place at Magnolia Creek & Co. Atelier.
November 14th, will be our third event in Valley Center and the first event with additional participants!

We are very honored to have Keep-A-Breast as the days charity. The KAB foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Their mission is to help eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection, and support. Through art events, educational programs, and fundraising efforts, they seek to increase breast cancer awareness among young people so they are better equipped to make choices and develop habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being. Make sure to pick up an I (heart) Boobies! bracelet for yourself and all your friends.

A first for us is, Photo Booth Fun by m•o•m, photographed by Bethany Jensen. Step in front of the backdrop created especially for the event and shine your biggest smile at the camera!

And we are very happy with the great line up of merchants we have in store for you; so come early and stay late!

Just as I like it

The time right before an event is a favorite of mine -very busy and very exciting. Working out details big and small, finalizing vendors, collaborating with Bethany on the invitation. It is exhilarating and nerve-wracking all at the same time.
I plan on having the November 14th event invitation, finished and online mid-next week (so check back Wednesday). Bethany and I have some great idea's and I can't wait to see how they play out. So let this count as a Save the Date note for the next MC Atelier: Sunday November 14, 10am-5pm -mark your calendars! Details and vendor list to come.

This is what Monday morning greeted me with,

...a gorgeous red rose. Just a small glimpse of the grounds surrounding the atelier. For more images, take a look at the photo's Bethany took of the grounds and the table top for her book sale which took place at my last event.
Eek, this is so much fun! Pardon me while I geek out for a while on this whole blog thing, I'm a total novice at it and I am having a blast!

I am sitting in the country with my good friend Bethany writing this post, my first ever blog post. I look forward to this journey of sharing images, ideas, and adventures with you.
